What Is LASU Cut-Off Mark?
The cut-off mark is the minimum JAMB score required to qualify for LASU’s post-UTME or screening.
- General Cut-Off Mark (2025/2026): 195
- If you scored below 195, you cannot apply for most LASU courses.
- You must also choose LASU as your first choice in JAMB.

How LASU Calculates Admission
LASU uses a screening system instead of post-UTME exams (in most years). The score is usually based on:
- JAMB score – 50%
- O’level grades – 50%
O’level Grading System:
- A1 = 10 points
- B2 = 9 points
- B3 = 8 points
- C4 = 7 points
- C5 = 6 points
- C6 = 5 points
Your best five subjects are considered, including compulsory ones for your course.
